Correlated Signals
Correlated Signals is an artistic and audiovisual project developed in Geneva, bringing together contemporary electronic music, sound art and research into perception. It takes the form of a long-duration immersive installation, a live performance and a workshop for students at the Geneva University of Music (HEM).
The project explores the perception of change, memory and duration through an extended listening experience in which the audience's perceptions gradually shift, without a discernible turning point. Rather than presenting something to recognise, the work activates a process within each listener.
It builds on research conducted in 2026 with neuroscientists in Geneva and Lausanne, supported by Pro Helvetia. The current phase focuses on production and public presentation in Geneva, including audiovisual design, a sixteen-channel spatial sound system, composition and sound design.
